Triple Your Gold in Patch 2.0.1

Looking at the 2.0.1 ptr patch notes, I can quickly see a method for tripling your invested gold after this patch goes live. Provided that it occurs before march 18th... when the auction house turns off forever. Hopefully, I will be able to implement my own custom auction house.

As you know, the auction house will soon be leaving us, but not before providing us with this last epic chance to speculate.

White and blue items will salvage into 1-3 crafting materials instead of just one. WOAH. So if I salvage blue items that I buy now for less than 300 gold, they will sell for 800-2400 gold in subtle essences. Not to mention all the level 60 magic items I could flip from 150 gold to 1000-3000 gold each.

While a 1000 gold now a days isn't a lot, filling every bag slot you own with these could turn a nice profit! You could buy 210 single slot items (like rings and amulets) to place in your bank tabs, let alone all your alts with their bank space. So, theoretically, you could be making 420,000 gold from your bank tabs alone when the patch hits.

Just buy the items now as they show up! Obviously some people look at 420,000 gold and scoff at how little it is... but that's a good amount of money for any new players. And it will only cost like 50,000 gold to do!

In other news, all the legendary items are being revamped... which means big profit opportunities for crafting. They are also changing how much things cost to craft, but that probably won't be enough to raise the price of crafting materials since we'll be getting double the drops from salvaging.

Get ready for a crafting frenzy once the patch hits! Do your best to buy these recipes before the auction house is gone forever.
